He says he only does it for Kennedy because of how presidential it sounds. He showed me the video which I can not find right now because I drank a bit too much jungle juice tonight, but it shows him announcing Kennedy's goal (Goal scored by Tyler Kennedy) then he walks away from the mic and then back to it (Kennedy). I don't know if you followed that, but I hope you can get a sense of the satire.
This is why he repeats the Kennedy after saying Tyler Kennedy:

dude give it up, no one cares about how you think the red wings are getting screwed because
A. They aren't
B. They should be called for diving at least 5 times a game.
C. for the second time his glove never went over the puck, which the announcers concluded after 8 replays.

so you gonna keep at it or you done?

Badass dude. It was a little lamer than my friend described, but also completely false from what he told me. I wonder if the DVE announcer also announces the Penguins games!

Damn I missed the game. Sounds like a good one. The problem I'm worried about is that no road team has won on the road yet, but hey that's why they play the game because anything can happen. Believe it or not I"m going with Pittsburgh to win. Not going to bet anything but have a good feeling. (and mostly because I want to shove it down the throats of some of these Red Wing nuthuggers)

That's the argument that should be used to disprove your point.

I'm glad to see almost everyone here calling the game for what it was... a great game.

Also on the Kennedy thing, the Pens PA announcer doesn't say Kennedy the 2nd time it's Mr. Kennedy who says it.

John Barbaro been with the team since mid-70s:

Great game.

Scuderi saved Fleury in the final minute but Fluery made a great save on that breakaway
earlier in the closing minutes where Orpik should have been called for a slash to Dan Cleary's left arm up high.
Orpik actually turned the stick to get the heel of his stick (which hurts more).

I think this will give Fleury the confidence he needs to win one in Detroit.
Pens will win the cup.

Sykora had a nice game coming in for Satan.

That would almost be funny if you didn't mispell ridiculous while calling someone a retard.

Maybe he was just reemphasizing the diculousness of this thread...

I beleive last night was the first time the Pens have won a playoff game without Malkin and Crosby scoring a point in the last 3 playoffs.
