As for Abdelkader (pronounced *ab-DUH -kader*), he had the flu. There was no need for him to play. With Dats back in the line-up, Abbs got to ride the pine. He has played great as a fourth liner, but for the SCF, and with Dats back, it was a smart move by Babs to sit him.

Any real Wings fan knows that...

Careful who you partner with, Burnsy. Churla and the others could care less about Detroit fighting. They want Detroit to lose because they are at the top of the mountain and have been there awhile. They use the fighting issue as a weak basis for their bile.

Danny B better get these guys re-grouped and re-focused unless they want a repeat of last year. They just need to keep their heads together, forget about this loss and focus on Tuesday night. I still have faith in this team, and regardless of the crap game they played tonight I still think they have a very realistic shot at winning the cup. If they win Tuesday night anything is possible.
