Malkin has been a monster these playoffs 35 points! Only Lemieux, Gretzky, Coffey, Gilmour, and Bossy have done that.

nice prediction.

Loved the Penguins hustle. The refs did a slightly better job with the officiating tonight. Penguins fans are hard to play with. The white out is terrifying. I as well am in saying (as what I said when the series started) Penguins in six. On further note I called (and stood by) the Pens/Wings rematch back in September.

Further yet again, my friend got good seats to the game, section B.

and another: I also liked the FSN Pittsburgh show during the game (inbetween commercials of course) of Mario Lemuix's career. I saw the first goal, all the way to retirement. Very inviting story.

Wouldn't it be great if he broke the record? Was it 40 or something?

Red Wings deserved to lose tonight. Awful game on all counts. Pittsburgh took it to us in the second period and Crosby/Malkin ran rings around us. Pretty pathetic.

I have to say however that I lost a lot of respect for Evgeni Malkin tonight. I always kind of took him as a straight forward guy, someone who played the game without whining or playing dirty. Tonight he tried to take cheapshots on guys when calls didn't go his way, he played irresponsibly in the sense that he could have cost his team a lot more calls (I think he got called for a tripping that was pretty blatant), and he seemed to be playing with an edge at the wrong times in my opinion. I didn't seem like he played with discipline or respect for the other team at all, which is contrary to my previous opinion of him.

The good news for Pens fans is that Crosby decided to show up tonight, and it definitely showed on the scoreboard. Congratulations to the Pens on a solid win. Can't complain at all about this one.

On a side note, Tyler Kennedy has to be the ugliest player in the NHL. A good player, but man I get sick of seeing his ugly mug when I watch the Pens.

And the winner is: Birds will tie the series tonight 2-2

Great to see the Pens kick the Red Stains vags tonight. Solid game

Wow, what a nice post, and I don't mean that snarkily. Malkin plays with edge at the appropriate time, which is right now. He gets upset at the time of the hit, and goes after the next guy he sees. I'd rather he go get the guy who got him, but he's learning. It took him two years to finally go look for a piece of Ovechkin. I think a challenge is coming there next year.

Tyler Kennedy, on video, is not very attractive. In person, he's probably a very fit, strong young man. I remember my wife making fun of Ian Moran. He looked funny. His eyes were too big, blah, blah. In person, things were different. Oh. Yeah. Most guys aren't in the kind of shape he is, yes? Handsome fellow, yes? Don't hurt a guy when you don't have to.

I don't think Cleary would be afraid of Orpik. Cleary dropped his mitts with Wade Belak. Orpik is a hesitant fighter at best. He just gives the other guy his bug-eyed, helpless look and tries to skate away. He let Scott Hartnell give him a straight right and just looked over at the referee. I like Orpik as a hitter, but he is not a stand up guy.

Anyway, Pittsburgh has the mojo right now. Detroit looked like they just wanted to go home. We'll see.

Good post but Cleary didn't have one FM this year and only one last year. Apparently, playing in Detroit must've given him the skin disease that doesn't let your gloves come off.

Well he fought Zetterberg, so what better way to cap off an amazing fight with one of the Red Wings' finest then to go after a Russian tough guy? That would be quite the dust up indeed. Evgeni Malkin the enforcer? Oooohhh the sound of that gives me the chills.

If you like that neanderthal degenerate look, I won't argue. Ian Moran is an ugly mofo, I agree with that. I didn't know you liked Kennedy so much, I guess I'll lay off. And I'm still not sure, did you mean that nice post comment snarkily or not?
