Given the complete 21 second 6 man blunder that the officiating crew from Tuesday night made, I honestly thought tonight's crew would be doubly sure that they didn't and wouldn't miss anything...

...except for the very clear offsides on the Pens play that resulted in the Malkin goal. And the worst part is that the linesman was yet again right in place to make the call.

Seriously, what gives?

Pittsburgh isn't the problem...they're understandably playing what the refs are allowing them to have.

Glad Abdelkader's out. Babcock is a great coach, but I don't get this move at all. If any calls will be made, Showtime McCreary is on the job! He's the Stephen Colbert of the NHL. He looked ready to take a bow when he called the tripping penalty on Kronwall.

Red Wings fans complaing about officials never gets old, whats even funnier is they tend to win games, its still a terrible thing.

You come out of the woodworks every year to bag on the Wings, and now you post the same picture two game threads in a row? I mean really. If you're going to bag on the Wings then that's one thing. Everyone does on here, but if you're going to do it, at least make it creative and original so Wings fans can get a chuckle out of it.

FAIL

Agreed, bad move on Babcock's part. Abdelkader has been playing great hockey.

Are the Wings' ages catching up with them? Are they tired?

I don't know, but giving up a shortie and then letting Cindy in collect an easy shot shows just how crappy they are playing right now.

We'll see what kind of a coach Babs is now in this situation...

3 awesome goals in a row by Pittsburgh!! Great plays. Oh wait it's the refs fault that the Pens scored. Sorry I forgot.

A lot of pretty plays from the Pens the last few goals. I have a feeling Detroit is going to tie it up again, though.

those were great goals by Pittsburgh and we've got a hell of a game going, it will be tough for the Wings to get back into this one... they'll need Hossa to step up if they do... Pittsbrugh needed to find a way to score aside from the PP if they wanted to make it a series and it looks like they've done just that

Tyler Kennedy's favourite player growing up: Jeremy Stevenson .... OOOOK.

Not for nothing, but I'm wondering if Fleury's stick is made of freakin' rubber. He can't stop a dump around to save his life. Good God, he needs to work on handling the puck.

Great 2nd period, though.

Yeah the Damn ref dressed in a Pens uniform and scored. After he celebrated he dressed back into his ref suit.

Can't complain about the calls in this one. Detroit's defensive breakdown is their own fault. The Wings are playing like absolute crap right now.
