the 6 men pisses me off more than ericsson call...they both were absolute bull****...and idk how many crosschecks pittsburgh had that sent wings players head first into the boards...its so obvious the nhl wants pitt to win its pathetic...they get outplayed for the majority of the game and the refs bail them out...sweet...**** you refs and **** you pittsburgh

Pens earned this one. Calls even out in a 7 game series.

I agree about the Pens win. I said as much.

But 6 men for 21 seconds will never even out...

I was surprised that the shot total favored Detroit by so much. This game looked much like the first two, except Osgood didn't have the huge save and Fleury didn't give up an awful goal. As Unforgiven said, Max Talbot was intense. The guy wants to win badly.

That was an terrible call on Ericsson and CBC was showing the pens play for a whole shift with 6 players and no call. Other than that the Pens played a good game. Its better this way any way. the wings will win it in Detroit.

Newman, just out of curiosity, if you knew the wings were gonna win the cup last year, (and year's before). Would you rather had the Pens win game 6?

Osgood is very very lucky he gets to play in front of great defenseman and forwards who also play great D because when you can get some quality shots against him he looks very average at best.

Your team was outplayed in most of the first two games, but the officiating mess was on your side. You even got to have Zetterberg make glove saves. This time the mess was on our side. I'll take it. I'd even say that the NHL owes us a few more calls. The only thing pathetic about this series is your GM.

The reason the cross checks look so bad is that the wings flop around like bitches when they receive any kind of physical contact but I do agree with you about the 6 men on the ice that shouldnt be missed.

For the ref on the back side (and the linesman) to miss that is highly inexcusable. That missed call and then the Ericsson call was a complete breakdown on the part of the officials tonight. Not even the staunchest Pens supporter can deny that the officials gave them a gift/win tonight.

Wings fans complain about penalties when one of their goals was scored during a terrible call on Orpik. I think it was Maltby he bumped with a feather and he fell like he was hit with a tazer. Then, on that PP leading to the goal, the Wings got away with blatant interference.
