I was surprised that the shot total favored Detroit by so much. This game looked much like the first two, except Osgood didn't have the huge save and Fleury didn't give up an awful goal. As Unforgiven said, Max Talbot was intense. The guy wants to win badly.

no it just bothers the **** out of me i stay up and watch this and all that goes on is homejobs for pittsburgh because the nhl wants them to win so crosby/malkin/fleaury can win it be the "young heroes" blah blah blah and get attention and marketing and its all a scam...sorry i have passion for my team bud ******* or not they are still my team

For the ref on the back side (and the linesman) to miss that is highly inexcusable. That missed call and then the Ericsson call was a complete breakdown on the part of the officials tonight. Not even the staunchest Pens supporter can deny that the officials gave them a gift/win tonight.

Wings fans complain about penalties when one of their goals was scored during a terrible call on Orpik. I think it was Maltby he bumped with a feather and he fell like he was hit with a tazer. Then, on that PP leading to the goal, the Wings got away with blatant interference.
