Chicago at Phoenix 2/7/13

who steps up to the plate and goes to bat for hossa on raffi torres...personally i hope it's bollig first, bollig second then bollig a third time after torres knocks kane into concussion land.

personally though i see bollig fighting torres, then the game goes on after all the hype and replays of the hit that are gonna be shown

All of these high potential revenge games unfortunately always seem to end in disappointment. I think best case scenario we see another Cooke/Thornton type deal with an early fight between Bollig and Torres and that's about it. Although, in my old-school world of wishful thinking I'd like to see some additional message sending if the score is out of hand when the third period rolls around. Most likely won't happen though.

Going to go with either Toews or Bollig. He knows hes got to answer the bell, hes said it in an interview when he returned to the line up.

Like most revenge games, this will all depend on the score. Should one of the teams get blown out, it could turn into another Islanders-Penguins game.

But realistically, I think we'll see Bollig go after Torres and that will probably be it.

i want Bollig, obviously, but i honestly don't think anything happens. it's going to one of those 'we beat 'em on the scoreboard' type games, unfortunately.

If Coach Q sends Bollig's line out for the opening faceoff then he is basically calling Phoenix out. I hope he does.

Well Scott,do you really think Toews is gonna challenge Torres? I dont know why I continue to answer your posts, they were so stupid last year. Bollig prolly knows Torres wont go,so I'm predicting Brookbank steps up and challenges, even though he wasnt even on the Hawks last year. I'm sure Torres would like that instead of Bollig.

I disagree, the 1st shift Torres has he will be challenged, than just a normal game after that.

If the game was in Chicago, where Torres would be booed, I'd expect something to happen. But with it in Phoenix, there won't really be an atmosphere for "revenge".

Too bad he's injured, because this has Daniel Carcillo written all over it. He'd drop Torres no matter if he accepted the fight or not lol..

Duncan keith was boo'ed everytime he touched the puck in van, but nobody touched him. I'll be watchin to see how chicago reacts to torres. I hope someone gets at raffi torres. Or someone challanges him, and raffi accepts. If it goes down like I hope. It will lead to me hatin on my nucks even more, for not responding to keith. What would rub more salt in my wounds, is if ducan keith was the guy to challange raffi torres. Sticking up for his team again, just like the other night.

i know lapierre and someone else tried to throw a few "late" hits on keith early in the game, but failed as keith moved and then after that there was nothing.

i said this in the hawks forum and im gonna say it here. there needs to be blood and it better be from bollig. mayers can't beat up a stuffed animal and brookbank wasn't here and shouldn't be put in the situation. it's bollig or bust and if quenneville says we'll beat them on the scoreboard, then his ass needs to be fired.

i
In the canucks game. The comentator said dan sedin was asked about keith. Sedin said " duncan keith is a great guy aswell as a great hockey player" there is two games left between hawks and nucks. But im thinking the nucks consider the elbow as water under the bridge.

As for sheldon brookbank vs raffi torres ...IMO... Once you put on the jersey, you put on the history , tradition and all the glory that jersey has to offer. Knowing brookbank I dont think he would have a problem tunning someone out. He is afterall a hawk now. Time to become a fan favorite.
