Calgary at Colorado 3/20/12

This will be an interesting game. Itīs 5th of six meetings of these clubs this year and itīs a battle for the last playoff spot. Colorado lost all four games against Calgary this year, now they are comming back with hot Varlamov and two new great players in Downie and McGinn.

I think if Colorado wins tonight, Calgary is not going into playoffs and the Avs do.

Expect Desbiens vs Mcleod as Jackman is injured

i heard on the radio that tim jackman might be ready to play tonight.

i dont think this will be the game whereas if calgary loses they are mathicmatically out of the playoffs . the avs have 83 points in 8th spot .. flames 81 .. the avs have one game in hand. so cal wins then we have a tie for 8th. with the flames having on must win game to jump the avs. also the yotes who also have 83 points.

however LA and SJ both have 82 points and if either of them win they take over 7th and 8th.

so we have a cluster fawk of 5 teams for two spots. that might last till the end of the season.

What are you talking about? McGinnīs and Downieīs arrival had absolutely boost the AVS, since they are with the team we play great and both players are POINT PER GAME. And thatīs great effort

As for McGinn he for example scored two goals in a game against the Sabres, one of them tied the game with 2 seconds left. He basicaly picked that 2 points against Sabres himself

ooh a point per game for a little stretch after both have not even come close to it in their careers

that still doesn't make them great players.

big deal many players have tied the game with little time left, that doesn't make all of them great players. you're just a blatent ball-sucking homer if you truly think that mcginn and downie are great players. i guarantee you never had this opinion while they weren't on the avalanche.

Downie and McGinn are great players and you want them on your team, too.

i don't want mcginn on the hawks

your definition of a great player is retarded...if a 10-15 game stretch averaging a ppg makes them a great player, that's sad. i bet you wouldn't be making these claims if these two weren't on the avalanche. you're an idiot homer, that's all you're proving with your "great player" comments about a 3rd line guy and a 2nd liner.
