Lucic showd ZERO respect after his fight with Lucic, there is a code of honor in fighting and part of that code in answering the bell Komisarek did it when he fought Lucic, a better fighter weight dosent mean all that much in a hockey fight dont know if you know that or not. It Lucic's turn to man up and answer the bell its as simple as that. And before you get on me for throwin Neelys name aroudn a lot of people compare Lucic as the second coming....

Last year Lucic was a 3rd/4th line grinder and it was his job to go around looking for fight. He wasn't expected to make the team out of camp and wasn't expected to last more than 9 games once he did make it out of camp. He's developed into a power foward on pace for over 50 points while leading the league in hits and doesn't need to fight anymore to prove his worth like he did last year. That's why he's on pace for far less fights this year and is going to fight less and less in the future.
Lucic showed plenty of respect for Komisarek. He had him down with the refs still several feet away and could've kept pounding away but when Komisarek went down, he stopped throwing. He could've really done some damage but he chose not to.
The claim that he was taunting the Habs after the fight is total speculation. He could've been doing anything from playing to the crowd, screaming towards his own teammates because he was pumped up that he beat his rival or maybe he was taunting them. Who knows? If you base it on his past history, it was likely playing to the crowd, which he has done several times.
Lucic had the ban on him tonight and I'm sure he told Laraque that he couldn't go. If Carboneau really wanted Laraque to go after Lucic so much that he was playing him on the top line, he should've told him to just take the instigator.
