Lucic showd ZERO respect after his fight with Lucic, there is a code of honor in fighting and part of that code in answering the bell Komisarek did it when he fought Lucic, a better fighter weight dosent mean all that much in a hockey fight dont know if you know that or not. It Lucic's turn to man up and answer the bell its as simple as that. And before you get on me for throwin Neelys name aroudn a lot of people compare Lucic as the second coming....
Last year Lucic was a 3rd/4th line grinder and it was his job to go around looking for fight. He wasn't expected to make the team out of camp and wasn't expected to last more than 9 games once he did make it out of camp. He's developed into a power foward on pace for over 50 points while leading the league in hits and doesn't need to fight anymore to prove his worth like he did last year. That's why he's on pace for far less fights this year and is going to fight less and less in the future.

Lucic showed plenty of respect for Komisarek. He had him down with the refs still several feet away and could've kept pounding away but when Komisarek went down, he stopped throwing. He could've really done some damage but he chose not to.

The claim that he was taunting the Habs after the fight is total speculation. He could've been doing anything from playing to the crowd, screaming towards his own teammates because he was pumped up that he beat his rival or maybe he was taunting them. Who knows? If you base it on his past history, it was likely playing to the crowd, which he has done several times.

Lucic had the ban on him tonight and I'm sure he told Laraque that he couldn't go. If Carboneau really wanted Laraque to go after Lucic so much that he was playing him on the top line, he should've told him to just take the instigator.

with montreals toughness continuing to go down without komi they cant afford to lose laraque to, and watch some of the other fighters if they celly its not over the top like his was its something subtle especially agaisnt a rival its not something that makes you look like an idiot which some Bruins fans agree Lucic did look like.

Looch is a spot picking pussbag. Just admit it and stop trying to act as if none of this bothers you. Looch looked embarrassed the whole night. He must have had an orgasm just scoring that goal, while BGL wasnt on the ice, because other then that, BGL contained him the entire night and Looch was not the same player he usually is.

Looch would not have done anything even had BGL done that. And I think BGL knows it. I think enforcers have a pretty good idea about who they are up against, and he could see the yellow streak running right down the middle of Lucic's back.

Not that I am surprised but the Teddy's were an absolute disgrace tonight in the balls department but as we all know, both ST and ML had injured hands and couldn't go or were told by Foolien not to fight . Come back to earth wannabe pooh's.

1. Lucic should have just gotten it over with, hug and hold if you have to.

2. Where was Shawn Thornton???

3. Would love to know what they were saying to each other.

4. As far as bringing up Neely, I remember when Cam had a bad hand and the Habs had Ewen chasing him around all night. Cam finally had to drop'em and hang on.

I thinking same, what do Shawn Thornton? Nothing... BGL running behind Lucic over ice and nothing is happening.

Unreal isnt it??Yohan is a moron who sees only one team on the ice(typical homer) lucic looked like a fool last night and everyone knows it,What did people want Laraque to do sucker him?? Then yohan and lucic,s fan club would whine about that, excuses ,excuses ,it is a joke,The other way arround we would have a parade of bruin fans running at the mouth.

Lucic is a good player.. no doubt.. but why should Komisarek have to fight him - Komisarek's smaller, less fight experience - same situation with Lucic and Laraque..
he did try to line him up but bounced off him and almost fell on his keaster.

yeah he looked scared laughing at him the whole night.. I think it is F'ing hilarious Looch had a shadow all night. He is in montreals head and i friggin love it. hope it continues the rest of the season as seeing laraque play 1st line minutes is great. BTW- if you watched post game Julien came right out and said he told Lucic not to fight anyone last night so blow me...
