Yeah it's pretty sad. I realize preseason always has a lot more fights, but I had high hopes for this season after some of those preseason games.

from a fighting standpoint, the game sucked. I was there. It was so obvious when parros got turned down by cote. OKT turned down brown. Im gettting to the point that i want john stevens fired. he has cut the balls off this team and its flat out pissing me off. let berube coach the damn team. we are tougher then we have been in a while and the guys who ar paid to fight arent allowed to. like wtf stevens. grow a pair.

I'm glad the Flyers lost. That's what they get for playing with no emotion. I didn't watch the third because the first two periods were lame as fukk with all the stupid penalties being called, but I read the box score and it looks the Flyers just flat out sh!t the bed in the final minutes.

It makes no sense at all to bring in Carcillo, Laperriere, and Tollefsen for this season and then tie their hands. Whatever...

thats ****ing stupid, its maybe 6 games into the season for Philly and your already calling him to get fired.I don't watch alot of Philly games so I can't really say how they've been playing but Stevens is a damn good coach and has shown it by taking turning Philly around.
Calling for him to get fired is ****ing stupid, the team is 3-1 (3-2?).

Yeah, those are not hockey fans. And that bites me in the ass when those types of people say to others that they arent hockey fans because they automatically assume if you arent watching for rough stuff, you either dont like it or dont get the sport. **** off. Fighting has it's place in the game and always will, but if you need 3 fights a night or some **** and you cry when one game happens to go without one, stop watching. Sometimes, even tough teams aren't feeling the need to drop them...deal with it.

Maybe Stevens is starting to get it,and realizing that if they don't start winning.And I don't mean just being competitive.Philly's money makes that possible.If they don't start winning.He's gone......But that's what moron Flyer fans want.5 fights a game,and another one goal loss at home...But hey...At least they're competitive....

Stevens didn't turn anything around. Holmgren was the one who got us all these players we have now. Alls Stevens is doing is taking away a key part of our game that Philly is clearly designed for. And thats playing a tough physical game. I don't see the team winning many game with Cote, Asham, Carcillo and OKT playing and not use them for what they should be used for.

We want the Flyers to play tough and win (play to their strengths), not play soft and lose (like last night).

I missed this game due to a 700 mile road trip Saturday night. I figured I was missing a very physical game with at least a few fights. When I pulled up HF's on my phone during the trip I figured something had to be wrong..... the game was over and their wasn't a fight thread. When I found out details I was like WTF.

Knucklechucker I don't watch games just for fights and I don't think the majority of the other Flyers fans do either. I like this team from their tough past, tough reputation and the tough style of play. I actually came into the year thinking we're going to be terrible becuase we have TO MANY tough guys. I expect them to play a tough intimidating style of hockey, that's the lineup we dress. If you watch our games that's when we play the best and win the most. Honestly why would you even dress Cote if you don't want him fighting? Sure he can skate and move the puck, at little. But there are plenty of other guys that can skate, pass and shoot WAY better than Cote and probably check as good or even better.

I'll take this loss in hopes that Stevens learns trying to take the fight out of fighters leaves them empty handed.
