TEAM USA Roster for World Championships

So I just noticed this on the USA Hockey website, however, I am curious on how Jason Pominville is listed on the USA team, I was under the impression that he was born in Quebec. I am not complaining one bit I think adding him will help USA's effort, its just odd that he is playing for the USA and is mentioned as hailing from Buffalo,NY.

Pardon the ignorance of my question, but i haven't catched a Blackhawk game this season. Is Byfuglien a defenceman, or a forward, or both?

He was a defenseman in juniors but he seems to be playing on the wing with the Hawks.

Eh

Is there a single All-Star on that team? I didn't see any that stuck out.

They're going to get worked by the likes of Sweden, Russia and Canada.

They only moved him to wing for the past 2 weeks. He had a hat trick playing Defense this year which is impressive.

Nah, he played winger most of the season after struggling to adjust on D. He only played D for a couple of weeks.

He played Defense on and off after the first few months, but his was most productive when he played with Kane and Toews towards the end of the season.
