show is great, i'm loving it.

for whoever said they think it was borrowed from l4d, it didnt. it's based off a comic series from 2003.

I really liked the first episode of the show, it created the zombie apocalypse atmosphere very nicely. Since the first eppy though, I'm not liking how the show is straying from the comic series. They are adding unecessary characters and side plots in that are weakening the story in my opinion. I'm also wondering on whether the story is going to follow the plot line of the comic since the comic series is still on-going. I hope the show doesn't influence Kirkman's decisions on where he decides to take the comic.

I hear ya. Just like in Superman comics...when Lois and Clark got married on the Dean Cain tv show they forced it into the comics. I doubt Kirkman/Image Comics would ever feel obligated to cater to the show's direction though. Tonight's episode was awesome. That last couple minutes was insane.

tonights episode was sick. the grandma part was kinda wierd but the ending was crazy good. cant wait for next week

i find myself fast forwarding through some of the painful bits,like the start where the two blondes are talking fishing,i know they are trying to build characters but why?It's a ****ing Zombie fest.

Pretty predictable what was gonna happen too,like about 3 episodes ago.

Still like it though.

I like that the show isn't just constant zombie killing. Don't get me wrong, there are few things in life that make me as happy as seeing a zombie getting their brains blown out, but the somewhat slow pacing of the show makes the zombie scenes that much more intense.

Amazing finale last night. That ontop of Dexter -- one of the best night's of tv that I can remember in some time. Its just too bad we have to wait almost a year for the next season.

negative nancy here to say; im glad its over! couldnt take much more of that. hopefully it just fades away from my brain forever and i dont turn on next season.

i made a few posts in this thread touching on it. but simple put the cast was picked on their ability to scrunch their brow and sweat. not act. and the writing wasnt up to par.
