The way this is going is really pissing me off. Tyreese in Woodbury? Really? I can see exactly where they're headed with that but I won't say anything.
I understand what they're doing with Andrea but I don't have to like it, it's just getting annoying at this point, sh1t or get off the pot Andrea! There was a point in the books where they told Rick, "you're not the leader anymore" so that part is fine, they can really see Rick is at the edge, about to fall off or jump off. I like seeing zombie combat as much as anyone, I love when they creative in how they kill a zombie. I loved what Andrea did with her pet zombie, she learned that from Michonne of course. However, the books and show is really more about the people, their breaking points, how they deal with the insanity of the world and with each other, it's why the group is strong, they care about each other til the end but they also know they likely won't survive much longer, they've seen too many people get killed so randomly by zombies but even worse, by other people such as the governor and you can hear it in their voice when they tell Andrea- "He was one of us".

Outstanding episode.
Where the hell did he get all those guns? Grenades? Was waiting for Rick to load up some Stinger missiles, night vision goggles, and a Sherman tank! I like the scenes with Michonne and Carl, it shows Michonne caring about Carl enough to defend him and prove to Rick that she belongs and Carl says it at the end- "she might be one of us". Awesome and great to see. The poor guy who is trying to catch a ride with them........oh man, that was some cold sh1t. And then they pick up his back pack. I laughed, inexplicably.

Really good episode, especially considering there was no Darryl, Merle, or anything with the Governor. I didn't mind any of the Carl and Michonne interaction. I find her character has gotten a lot better since she left Andrea.
I thought the best part of the episode was when Michonne was talking to Rick about him seeing things, and her telling him she talked to her dead boyfriend for a while. She threw something out there like, "it's normal." Seems like everyone has been on Rick's case about him losing his mind, yet here is Michonne basically telling him to be cool and it will all be fine. I really liked that.

From Saturday Night Live last week. If you don't laugh at the "classic pimp walk" there's something wrong with you. The "Thriller dance." Haha.

This episode was kinda boring for the most part, especially the stuff at the prison. The Glenn/Maggie **** continues to bore the hell out of me and I wish they would kill her off already.
That said, they did do a good job getting me excited for the final few episodes which I suppose was the purpose of the episode. |
