There was a Walking Dead marathon yesterday. Watching the final episode of season one, they were having dinner with the CDC guy and out of the eleven people at that dinner, less than half still alive and with the group.

Rick,Carl,Glenn, Darryl and Carol.

Lori,Shane, Dale, Sophia, Tdogg and Jacqui all dead now.

(Andrea left the group, so I don't count her).

I thought it wasn't very good either. Pretty predictable what happens and I'm not really dying to find out anything right now either. They need some kind of new cliffhanger.

^ Amen. I was face-palming through most of that opening scene. The first episode left me very wanting, mainly because the first half of the third season has been excellent. It felt like more of a filler episode than anything. There were some good character beats (Carol is actually kinda cool!) but overall...meh.

The previews made it seem like completely different things were going to happen and apparently those are over the next 8 episodes, instead, we got that sh1t at the end? Very disappointing after such a long wait, this kind of crap will cost them fans.

I caught this over on 'the other board', but did anyone else find it odd that in the last episode before the break (i think) Carol felt the convict with the goofy mustache was a child molester, or at the very least, a pervert......and in last night's episode, she felt it was okay to leave him alone with Beth?

The writing is beginning to bring this show WAYYYY down (Rick losing his ****...ghost Lori, Andrea's speech)

I know its a Zombie show, but c'mon....lets not get too out there.

All the zombies they had for the "gladiator" fights have their teeth and nails removed, remember?

They kept them in a pen. There wasn't time to go get new ones.

Not sure why everyone is so down on that episode.

Darryl was going to leave with Merle. Remember the dream Darryl had? He's almost like an abused kid that can't help but follow Merle. Merle raised Darryl.

Andrea had always been annoying, but her speech was part of the governor's plan. He wants her to be a real part his group,a leader an important figure so he can manipulate her to exploit Ricks group. She's more part of Woodberry than the prison group now.

Glenn is my favorite character and the story line has me worried lol. Anyone who reads the comics knows what I mean, lol.

As far as Carol goes, it wasn't that long ago she was prodding Darryl to take the leadership away from Rick, so who knows what's in her mind.

Rick seeing Loris ghost was pretty cool. If anyone has read the comic, the story is all about Ricks downward slide into insanity.

I think the site is definitely going more like the comic now, which imo is a good thing.
