For the first time I watched Walking Dead because so many people were talking about about it. I liked it, lots of action. I gaged when that lady was praticing the medical procedure on the dead zombie. Who's that spying on her behind the trees?!

Lori.
She's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Rick warmed up to her too, very disappointing. Episode 2 was pretty good. A couple of OMG moments. I really hate Lori, she adds nothing but irritation to the show, they need to off her and quick. I can put up with it but it's like Arwen in Lord of the Rings, just annoying and in the way, stuff you want to just fast forward through.

I just assumed that everyone knew that one of the preludes to becoming a zombie was that your skin became as hot as a furnace. I was never convinced he was going to turn so the attempted scare fell flat for me.
You can all harass me for defending Lori if you'd like. |

![]() She just rubs me the wrong way, I can't stand her at all. Drama queen, thinks she's more attractive than she is, tries to act tough, maybe should have had Shane and Rick pull out instead of getting pregnant during the zombie apocalypse. Stupid tart. Not too many characters I root for to get torn to shreds by zombies but she is one of them. Beth too, just get rid of that pale mess. I was glad they offed Dale, he was becoming annoying, if he had any balls he would have shot Shane himself. He was much better in the books than on the show. Lori is much worse on the show than in the books. I guess it's bound to happen a little bit.

The Walking Dead’ ratings slip for second episode, still beats networks
Daniel S Levine 10/22/2012 For the first time this season, The Walking Dead was seen by Dish Network subscribers. However, that still did not keep the ratings for the zombie drama’s second episode of season three from slipping. According to The Wrap, the episode drew a still astounding 5.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic. In total, the show drew 9.5 million viewers. In the 18-49 demographic, the episode had 6.5 million viewers, easily beating everything on the broadcast networks in the demo except NBC’s Sunday Night Football. |

I don't know, but I don't so much hate "Lori" as I do the actress who plays her. Maybe that's what everyone else is saying here but I think its more her than the character. She was on Prison Break and was brutal in that too.
She's just not capable of getting across the fear and helplessness she should be feeling while trying to keep a strong face. Every time Carl does something 'bad' she just gets this dumb f*cking shocked look on her face, it kills me. She just comes off as a self centred c*nt to everyone and is so unlikeable. We can't be the only ones bitching about her. She should have been recast ages ago. Honestly, if there is a scene where it's just her and someone else talking I'll skip it if I can

Episode 3 was really good.
The intro for the Governor is outstanding and totally focking creeped me out at the end even though I had a strong idea of what was coming thanks to the books. I had really weird dreams last night, that I was in Woodbury.

^ Agreed. I loved the final scene with him watching his "Head television/collection." Someone I hope returns to the show soon is Morgan. I'm a big fan of the actor that played him in the first episode. If he does come back I hope it's to help Rick deal with the death of Lori during The Governor's attack on the prison.

Talk about a 180. First two episodes great then the third drifts into a completely different story line that is quite weak. this "governer" is a weak actor who simply doenst have the stature to pull off this character. It looked like a scene right out of the "A team" when they came upon those army guys and mowed them down from the grass. All with one shot!!!
The fact is the premise of this show is great. The thought of the end of the world and having zombies vs. the left over population by itself makes it a great show. but most of the story lines are weak and the acting is very mediocre. Still I like the show. |
