Everything seems to be moving so slow. I was expecting more from the barn this week and yet it just keeps building up. It seems like they're just stringing things along but there isn't much substance to what's being added, but maybe that's just me. Like I said, I haven't read the comics so maybe this makes more sense to others.
And Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) is so irritating. She is just such a horrid actress. I hated her on Prison Break and she ruins episodes of this show for me. She is so cold all the time. Like cheer the f*ck up, such a drama queen. You still have your whole family and were given a gift when your presumed dead husband came back. Most everyone else's relatives are probably walkers. And Glen does her all these favours for her and she still comes off like a c*nt. She has monologues on the show and I just find myself tuning her out, my GF said she does the same. Just have the baby and end her already

Herschel's going to tell everyone to pack it up, the ensuing commotion will prompt Shane to attack Dale (or Rick) and Carl's going to get it done. i feel this way for several reasons: Carl's already showing how he's "cold". (the scene with the momma chicken. 'everything's food for something else') Shane has to die. (that sex scene screamed of, "hey, we really don't know what to do with this guy. he's great, but we're running out of ideas") it will be the show's catalyst for getting the survivor's off of Herschel's land. Herschel will finally snap and make sure everyone leaves. unfortunately, this brings up a question that i had even when i was reading the books. why don't they just kill Herschel and stay? i know that's too convenient and i know it ruins the story, but in a real life setting, if i had 10 survivors and he had 6, i'd say, "you know what? we're staying, like it or not. if you're going to put up a fight, let's get at it". i suppose Rick hadn't really turned in to, 'i'll do what i ****ing need to do' Rick yet though, hahahaha.

you know what kills me the most about this show... the extensive amount of dialogue. this genre has its fans, and it mos likely won't gain more. you either like gore filled zombie ****, or you don't. if theres one thing fans of the genre can agree on, it would be that the less talking the better. the actors aren't made for it. i think the acting in this show is so ****ing bad, and they almost force it. i'm not hard to please... have some walkers getting killed in a cool way and i'm happy. so much of this show is just becoming so sappy.
so much of let's talk about the world and tear up, but not quite cry. its to the point that you could literally fast forward through the talking scenes and know excactly what was being said. they're slipping away from the basics.. those very basics that make a show like this great. you don't have to try so hard.
