I thought it was pretty good... you're right, they are all over the place but it's kinda getting to that point where they have to be, there's just too much going on. Reading the books I've wondered how the **** they're going to show everything, it may disappoint some people but I'm assuming there will be episodes where certain characters/stories are left untouched.

The things I liked from episode 1 was that they wasted no time trying to build up Robb Stark into the image of a king, and also making sure everyone's hatred for Joffrey and Cersei was still as strong as ever...and the introduction of Stannis and Melisandre was pretty much what I expected

I'm really hoping tomorrows episode shows us what Renly Baratheon has been up to since he fled. That 100,000 man army has got to be up to something..

After Sunday's episode, seems like the series is really going to embrace the whole 'fantasy' aspect of the world now.

Should be pretty good.

It only gets better and better. If only they had like 25 episodes per book so they could really cover everything. No complaints with the show though, they do the best they can considering the limitations.

And I agree after 4 episodes damn I'm already really, really into it again... there's just too much to go around. Episodes need to be 2 hours!

I've read about certain characters/storylines that will be getting cut from the show, I'm hoping no one too major does...

The tent scene went over well, Qarth looked great, and the staredown between Arya and Tywin was amazing

BlackWater was fuking epic!

As a reader of the books and huge fan of the shows I was worried how they would pull off such an epic battle, yet they did a great job with it. When Bronn shot that fire arrow and everything was silent was just so dam good i have trouble putting it into words.

And can they give Dinklage the Emmy now and get it over with because that race is over and done with.

finally caught up with the episodes. All I can say is WOW.

Pretty good season thus far, last episode was amazing. Episode 7 and 8 were a little bland IMO but episode 9 definitely made up for it. I expect a good finale tonight as well. I noticed it shows on HBO for 70 minutes rather than the normal 60 which is pretty cool... any little bit counts.

This season was a pretty big successful considering IMO it is the least eventful of the books. There's a lot of build up but they were able to keep it interesting... now a dreadful 10 month wait and we get the 1st part of season 3, the best book by far!!
