Finally caught up on all the episodes, thank you Discovery for the marathon over the weekend.

The captain was pissed that he was being lied to more than anything by the little punk, that's why he called the cops. When he pulled out the weed stuff and questioned it all Jake could do is turn it around as to him not finding any crab, plus, the little **** took off to the airport immediately after they docked, the little bastard needs an ass kicking. Both those Harris kids are ****ing stupid and need to grow the hell up, they didn't want a captain they wanted a push over to drive a party boat. If you pay attention to all the other boats, everyone that was fishing for blue crab was having a rough time. The captain should have quit and told those asshole to ****ing shove it. The same problems are going to come up when they hire another captain.


Am I the only one that can't stand that guy on the Northwestern, the guy that was a greenhorn a few years ago. I'd shove that whiney retard in one of those traps and let it go over. ****, he's annoying.

Well than I completely misinterpreted your post. Sorry man. The guy's earned his stripes there's no doubting that. He's a bit soft in apperance but deep down he's more than most of us will ever be. He's now completed his capt certs and is waiting for a capt gig. He paid for and completed his education on his own in the off season. Pretty good kid as far as I'm concerned.

I was hoping you misinterpreted what I was complaining about. I give him props for putting forth all the effort and going out and getting certified to do what he wants but Sig even said he's going to have to toughen up if he wants to captain a boat.

So how do you guys feel about the ***** that was ready to quit after two hours on the Seabrooke?

The crew gave up on the Capt, not wanting to go back out to catch more crab. Yeah, they didn't catch much crab. It doesn't mean they could've snagged more, turning a small profit.

Being a family friend, I'm sure there were issues being hired by the owners of the boat, who is also part of the crew you're in charge of. Kind of a conflict of interest?! And if you watched last nights episode, the new Capt wasn't going to tolerate any of Jakes bull****, making him take surprise drug test before leaving the dock. And that doesn't mean he didn't sneak some on-board, ready to use again while they're out grabbing opilios.

I feel for the Harris boys. I can't imagine losing my father, who I worked with all of these years. Unbelievable tragedy. But that doesn't make it right to f&ck over another Capt because you can't stay clean and own up to your habit.
