The trailer showed Richard shooting a couple of different times I think so hopefully he cuts down some of Rosetti's guys, im not too sure this season will be the end of Rosetti though? He is a great character. How great was it seeing Capone show up with the cavalry? Looking forward to next week. |

I dont think chalky will fall, that club he is talking about will become 'club harlem' and although its not actually where babette's stood in real life, babette's wasnt blown up to try to kill nucky thompson in real life either. I think that agreement goes through. Nucky Thompson aka Nucky Johnson in real life lives until the late 60's so hes not going to fall, he doesnt do jail time until the 40s and season 3 is set in 1922. The Real life and Fictional parts run together but it's confusing for someone who wants historical accuracy as well as entertainment. The show is pretty good and blurring the line - and i expect them to continue this route especially with Joe Masseria- hes not going to die in this war between nucky and rosetti what just happened with lucky Luciano. gyp rosetti is fake - so gyp rosetti can die. Same as jimmy darmody. I'm surprised dean obanion is still alive because capone kills him in his flower shop - i guess that happens later in life. He will turn to rothstein for advice and restore his reputation I'm glad that Al Capone is finally out from under Torio and free to do as he wishes. That was a great line from the last episode. "then you and me sit down and talk about who dies"

Best show on TV and second place isn't even in sniffing distance even with this being the worst season of the 3. They really introduced way too many "alpha dogs" and "badasses" all at once this season. The first 4 or 5 episodes were just people taking turns showing how badass they were. I think the best storylines of the season have been the Washington DC stuff which they're barely touching on or explaining well enough for the masses. Then my overall problem with the show Mrs. ShrrooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOoooooderrrrrrrrrR keeps wasting valuable time with nothing. I can't think of a troubled woman damsel in distress type character I've ever cared for less than her from the very beginning of the show and on.
All that said. Still a great show. And boy are we in for a blood bath. I think Chalky should be fine. Eli would be my bet on tragic death on the Nucky side of things. Sets up for a more caring Nucky next season having to look after his brother's big ole brood. But that's just my guess. Over/Under 40 deaths including random underlings in the finale? |

I don't think he gives anybody up. I think it'll be flat out gun fighting. Maybe a sneak attack or two. And one twist traitor situation to finish off Gyp. But I think everything will be on the up and up on Nucky's side. Just my opinion.
Speaking of people getting killed off though, how obvious was it Irish dude was doomed two episodes ago? |

Nice ending episode, Nucky has completed the transformation to full fledged gangster. Still left a lot of questions for season 4 next year though.
What happens to Rothstein now, seems to me that that chiseling chicken **** SOB is on the verge of getting his. With Lansky and Luciano knowing that he ****ed them over there is gonna be blood there and I know both Lansky and Luciano went on to become big time Mob Guys. Rothstein is gonna die for ****ing them over. Was not really surprised to see Rosetti cut and run like a bitch when things got hot and kind of figured one of his own would take him out. I hope Gillian OD'd from the heroin Gyp shot her up with, Nucky should have just killed her. If she lives he is still gonna have Problems with her. Glad to see Tommy end up with Julia at least the kid will have a chance to make it providing good ole Gramma did OD. I wish Richard would have stayed around but he still may come back I hate Mickey Doyle even more now and really can't wait until he has to pay the piper

Rough count of 37 on screen confirmed deaths. ( 30+ off screen alone with the Italians returning to NY that got ambushed plus others. )
Guess my over/under of 40 was low in total but close in onscreen. ![]() Good finale, was "too convenient" without FEELING "too convenient". And the DC stuff played a huge roll, should've devoted more time during the season to the actual dynamics of all that. Think they might've lost some viewers there how that unfolded. "Twist traitor" I called for to finish Gyp was a little obvious but yeah, surprised we didn't lose anybody else along the way. Keeping a lot of power players and people you "care" about around for another season. Spoiler these nuts. Edit: By lost viewers on the DC stuff I didn't mean literally less viewers, just I dunno how many people "got" it. Last edited by NickDoh; 12-03-2012 at 12:36 AM. |

Possible people joining next season... Maybe the super violent Albert Anastasia joins with Luciano, since they were partners until Albert died in the 50s. Hymie Weiss might join too since he dies around 25ish and fought capone. Frank Nitti could be shown helping out Capone. A rising Bugs Moran could be shown, he was well known for being the main target for the st valentines massacre in 29. And the most likely will be Frankie Yale being with Capone, Yale was a well known gangster in NY in the 20s.
Arnold won't die since he lived till 1928, but maybe a war . Doyle was based on Mickey Duffy who died in 1931, but im guessing Doyle is more on the fictional side. Im guessing he will die next season. Dean O'Banion dies in 1924. so maybe Chicago's bootlegging wars will be focused on, while political stuff is shown on the AC side.

What did Mickey do to earn your hate even more? He called Rothstein on Nuckys orders to set AR up. Richard is the man, one of my favorite T.V. Characters ever. Hope they give him more time next season and he just dosen't dissapear after making sure Tommy was safe. |

Did Doyle call Rothstein on Nucky's orders or did he call him to protect his own nuts. With that guy I think he was covering his ass

Luciano really did get pinched by the police and was disgraced, so that part doesnt make sense that they would have it all be a set up- in reality after lucky got arrested rothstein saved luciano's ass after he got released - he didnt abandon him he gave him advice how to get his reputation back. And it worked. He didnt stop looking after lucky, like he did last night when he tells Meyer Lansky that lucky is his job now. Maybe something else is coming. Again, i know the show is only loosely based on reality. Its a fine line.
