American Horror Story

Anybody else watching this? It's a new horror/thriller series on Wednesday nights at 10 PM EST on FX. The series is only two episodes in but I've been fairly impressed so far. The premise isn't any groundbreaking but the show moves at a fast pace and is sufficiently ****ed up. My only real complaint so far is they don't spend enough time building up tension, so the "scary" moments don't have as much of an impact as they could have.

I might check it out. My complaint is that I saw the advertisements non stop and still didn't know what the heck the show was about. Better marketing would have helped.

I like the show, and the reason I like it is because of how ****ed up it is. As any show on FX I am forced to like it because its the hillbillies HBO.

Shaud to give you an idea, the show is about a family who moved from their house out in Boston after the husband has an affair with one of his students. They then move to a house with a long history that no one - except the neighbors - know of. Murders, ghosts, characters that don't grow old. The show is seriously ****ed up though.

Thanks. I watched the first two episodes and I really like it! That mental girl is the creepest! I was surprised how violent/graphic it is but man, I'm hooked. Thanks a lot grits

I kinda want to know if anything ever happened in my house...

I finally got around to watching the third episode last night. Freaking awesome episode, best so far in my opinion. Goddamn that maid is hot.

I can't wait until next week when FX comes to Canada so I will be able to watch new episodes on TV instead of having to wait until the next day and find it online.

I'm really getting intetrested! All of the ex owners coming back and causing havic. Once again, that mental child is plays the part great. "I want to be a pretty girl" Is the baby that is going to be born evil? Any guesses what happned to the daughter? Too many questions

The second part was BETTER then the first part. Shocking ending to be truthful, and the spoilers for next week make it sound as if it is going to become a crazy twist coming up.

I found the part with Tate to be really interesting. It made it seem as if they were part of a school shooting and that Tate was the gunman.

I finally got to watch part two(on demand slow as heck!) Gotta give credit, truly scary. The teenager he kills come back and reeks havic. The guy with his face burned is so believable. It's kinda of strange for the cop to arrest the ghost, now you see her not you don't. New episode tonight

The new episode was last night....

I liked this weeks episode, sets up what could be a truly crazy episode next week. Like legit messed up.

I think the part with the ghost was cool, they make mention of that this week. So you will sort of get the same idea on it, I think.

The last episode was whack. Eating a brain, half man, half pig, devil baby, school shooting. This is turning into a must watch show!!

I'm telling you from reading some of the spoliers it sounds like we might be in for one of the weirdest endings of all time.

What a show.

The show just keeps getting better.

My biggest fear when the show first started was that they wouldn't be able to keep it interesting for more than 5 or 6 episodes, but now with the way they have set things up I don't see any reason why this show can't continue to be awesome for quite a while. Once things start to get a bit stale they can easily kill off the Harmons and move a new family into the house while still having the ability to keep the Harmons around as major characters by turning them into ghosts.

I can't wait to see what direction they go in with the demon baby (or babies...).

Pretty good show. I'm somewhat surprised no one has brought up the awesome opening credits. I just happened to be flipping through the channels one night and that's what got me to watch.

The opening is intriguing, that was my first hint that this show was going to be different.
