I dont think Brennan will have fun in finland with getting 20+2+2 for this ****.

Even in Germany, where the refs act like *******, you wont get more than 2 pms for it.

I expect Brennan to leave finland soon.

he is just too tough and not skilled enough for them. but you never know.

That happened in Sweden and the refs were Elitserien refs.

When VandenBussche, Stevenson, Norton and the other guys were playing in Finland, nothing like this ever happened. If they were penalized for something, it happened for a reason.

I was in one HIFK's preseason game few weeks ago where Brennan started a scrum, he got only 2 min for that.

According to finnish newspapers Helenius is going to challenge Brennan on Thursday. I'm really hoping to see them drop the mitts

Reg. Season starts today and Brennan and Helenius just fought in first period. Big scrum at the end of the period. Hopefully we see more action later.

Sorry, I'm new and I have to take the chance to comment on your superb Chief vid on youtube CB. Brings back some great memories! Memories of seeing the line of Dale Hunter, Berube and Simon during the 98 playoffs.

Berube is a very nice man. I'm so glad to see him coaching in the league. Like Simon, he's had to work hard to perfect the skills, so he uses that well.

My friend in DC is such a big Berube fan that she has season tickets to the Phantoms. Long drive for her to go to games, but it's worth it to her. She's dragged me to a couple of games. We used to love stalking together

Now I get to watch OV, which is a HUGE treat. But I miss the days of Wils, Bonzaii, Oates, Hunter, Simon and Berube.

Oh, too bad. I'll have to try again later. I have several pics of the two Chiefs, but photobucket is undergoing maintenance and I can't upload them.

That's terrible. Clearly the people in charge of the league in Finland have no interest in fighting going up over there.

Fans are furious up here! The league officials said that since the fight was not spontaneous but clearly planned and it had nothing to do with any play they must be suspended. For two games! Shiiiiiiiit monkeyballs!
