Great game today between Cologne and Augsburg:

John Zeiler vs Marcel Ohman
not much of an fight but seems to be an easy win for Zeiler.
both only got 2+2 for roughing. Started after an Zeiler hit.

Sean O'Connor vs John Tripp
square off after an scrum. Draw. Not much landed. Maybe slight edge Tripp

Not a good showing by O'Connor going down so early. Flache vs. Tripp would've have been the better matchup i think.

John Tripp vs. Sean O'Connor - YouTube

Dissapointing by O'Connor. He goes down with no reason and pulls Tripp with him. I expected a much better fight. Unfourtunatley Brett Breitkreuz is not in Colonge's line-up. I don't think Tripp will fight another time because he will be suspended when gets another misconduct or game-misconduct.

I dont think the Tripp - O'Connor Fight was more than just an Draw with both guys not landing any real punches.
Tripp still got the momentum of the fight for sure.

Equal to the Reich-O'Connor Fight which wasnt much more than a draw too. But anything acted like O'Connor heavily won the fight. It was a narrow win O 'Connor.

Yesterday fight:

Adler Mannheim - Hamburg Freezers
Ronnie Arendt - Garret Festerling, looked like a draw to me. Mostly wrestling, Festerling missed an huge punch. Luckily for arendt. Video is on the eagles page .

There was some rough stuff between Shawn Belle vs David Wolf and vs Christoph Schubert.

I know Wolf is a real decent fighter because of his size and some experience but for a real heavyweight he is definitly refusing too many legit fighters...

Schubert is a Weasel anyway.

I hope Stone will have his first fight in the DEL- He should be the Freezers top Fighter.

Good Serie so far.

I was at the game, having a great view on the ice and the game was awesome.
I am a Mannheim Fan and a bit of an Augsburg Fan so I am kind of objective. At least as objective as you can be when you love honest,hart-hitting hockey.
If you do, you just have to hate this Dusseldorf team! Diving all over the place!

That was how it really was:
Bouck received an dirty hit on the other side of the ice but play went on. I think an Ingolstadt player hit Danner and Danner dived to the ice- It was clearly a dive so Bouck went upset and came over to Danner, kneeing him a bit. There was NO kicking with his skate. Was it dumb? Yes it was. Was it a MatchPenalty? No way!

With loosing badly and Dusseldorf diving all over the place, Ingolstadt Players began to play aggressiv and were trying to start Fights.
Jeremy Reich pinned Justin Kelly against the board and started pushing him and pulling him down and just waited for Kelly trying to defend himself a bit. As soon as Kelly did he dropped his gloves and started punching him.
Kelly tried to act cool and turned away and bum Reich got him right in the fact with a bomb and Kelly went down.
Its a joke that both guys got 2+2+10 as Kelly never ever fought back , he only defended himself a bit and got mad afterwards. But who cares.
Refs trying to make the penalties even after they mad several bad calls against Ingolstadt.

Ryan - Hedlund Fight was great , with Edge Hedlund.

Hambly- holland Fight wasnt much of an fight as Holland was just to big and too strong for the non-fighter Hambly.

Too bad, Bouck was already out of the game.

He would have pounded some Düsseldorf players as well as Reich did.

I hate those diving Dusseldorf Team punks like Danner, Kreutzer and its a shame that Bouck got a match penalty for this.

Why isnt the kicking from Bouck on the tape? because there was none!
Why isnt the diving from Danner on the tape? It starts when he already laid on the ice..

Please let Ingolstadt win this battle.. please for all real hockey fans..

after the game there were nearly some fights between Reich and another Ingolstadt Player vs some Fans.

Both got 14 minutes, not 12. Don't know if it was a fight, it is always very hard to get informations from Wolfsburg. Later in the game Wolfsburg's Huebscher and Fischer got match penalties for checking from behind in two different occasisons just seven seconds apart.

At the end of Berlin vs. Cologne there was some rough stuff. Nick Angell and Philip Gogulla both got two minutes slashing and four roughing.
