my buddies bin goin all over tryin out for teams in this league, bin gettin lots of invites and ****. i know nothing of this league, whats it like?

It's the top tier junior league in the United States. A good amount of guys have been getting drafted out of it into the NHL in recent years.

What's it like compared to the NAHL (the US junior league, not the goon league in Canada)?

It's a tier below the USHL so a difference in talent is apparent for sure. If I had to make a comparison, the USHL would be the QMJHL/OHL for the USA while the NAHL would be more similar to Canada's Junior A teams. The USHL and NAHL are pretty friendly though - a good amount of trades between the two leagues occur year-round.
