Anyways, that Lincoln-Des Moines game was a huge dissapointment as far as fighting goes (I got free milk, so I'm still good!).

In the first period Olsson drills a guy open ice, clearly interference IMO, and the ref doesn't call it, so of course some guy hits Olsson and there is a scrum. The linesmen were very proactive in this game, I think because the one of them was like 6'5 230, haha! Anyways, that got diffused with these linesmen holding them apart. This is what came out of it:

Then later Frye and Saar get penalties before a puck drop for slashing, and that situation was diffused. This faceoff was right in front of me, and I didn't see anything going on but some talking, I thought they might get unsportsmanlike or something, but they said slashing...whatever, that was weird to me.

End of the second period there was a lot of talking, and again the linesmen were busy. I guess Dominik Shine headbutted somebody, but I didn't see that...

After that, with the 5 min powerplay to start the third for des moines, not much was going to happen.

But I think it could be a pretty good series between Des Moines and Lincoln this year!

He sure seemed to be looking for a fight at times, but then again, so was DeVito, and I figured he wouldn't want much after that tilt last Friday!

Also, Samuels-Thomas is a lot bigger than I remember from last year!
