Uploading fight clips to my pc.

I'm basically wondering if there is a program out there that I can use to take the fights from my own dvd's and upload them to my pc so I can eventually put them up on youtube. I have never done this before and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For just copying them onto your computer, all you need to do is copy the files. Right click on your DVD drive in My Computer and hit Open. BitRipper will convert those files into an acceptable format for editing and uploading to YouTube.

I actually use DVD MovieFactory which was included with my laptop.

This is what I do for my concert DVDs, and it works flawlessly.

I have the same question as srehm1. But I don't know if the same applies to me. Example-I have a fight that I want to take from a DVD and edit it so it could be :15 seconds or 5 minutes long then upload to youtube and share it here. I've done it before using VirtualDub or VDub Mod. I tried it recently and I couldn't figure out how to do it. Any help would be nice.
