ATT just pissed off my wife royally and now she's looking for a new provider. Any suggestions for just basic smart phone service?

Sounds like your wife wears the pants in your household. Does she make you wash them? Or she just sends them out for dry cleaning?

Just when it comes to the phone crap she does, all I do is call, text, use the mp3 player and occasionally check sport scores on mine so I don't really give a ****.

Verizon. By far the best coverage among all the carriers.

I dunno what carrier TracFone piggybacks on but I've had a cheap WalMart burner phone since I moved here and don't use it enough to justify getting a real phone so I've actually just reloaded it here and there and kept it! But the coverage has been better than any phone I've had prior and it's just a dinky POS. Anywhere I've gone I get bars and clear calls. I think they have "smart phones" too (though I cannot vouch for their service) and monthly plans rather than just prepaid. Def not the hip route to go, but it's there.

Thought I didn't like Verizon...switched to Sprint. I am DAMM SURE I do not like Sprint, but my bill is cheaper.

Even a Sprint employee conceded Sprint sucked when I bitched about it to him. He really volunteered it quickly too...

Not much, except for dropped calls, lack of coverage and slower than dogg $hit network when texting pictures.

Other than that, Sprint is great.

Verizon sucked customer service wise, but the network was better.

They all suck in some way. Verizon has the best network by far.

You get what you pay for with phone service. Sprint and T-Mobile are cheaper, but I rather spend the extra money and be able to have the most coverage.

Kam-

Check out pagepluscellular.com It works on the Verizon network but is cheaper. I use that for my kids phones.

I am stuck on AT&T because of my business but would switch to Verizon or a re-seller of minutes on the Verizon network if I could.

Yeah.....I did not realize the gap was so apparent. I though "good enough" was likely with Sprint. T-Mobile I would have guessed to be weak.

The good news is that I am generally OK with Sprint where I live......but when texting pictures, I really have issues.

Big news here in Canada as Verizon is trying to enter the market. But the 3 monopolies are fighting hard not to allow it.

i find it hilarious that these **** heads at bell, rogers and telus who have had their fat faces stuffed in cake so long actually have the nerve to ask CANADIANS who get ****ed royally up the ass, to protest this. **** YOU BELL-ROGERS-TELUS
