The Upcoming Movies Thread

At Lincoln last weekend, there were a couple movies I saw trailers for that stood out to me one way or another...

The first one was Les Miserables. I know nothing about the story except that it involves the French Revolution. It looks like it has a great cast though, so I will probably check it out. I have a feeling it's going to be this year's big Oscar winner.

Oz the Great and Powerful looks like a clusterfukk of CGI and weirdness. I get that it's a prequel to the Wizard of Oz, but it looks way overdone. Then again I'm not a big fan of movies whose only draw is how flashy the scenery and animation is.

Hell yeah, that looks awesome. Can't go wrong with Brad Pitt in a role like that.

i heard it's pretty brutal, so i'm extra pumped. big fan of the dirty, gritty crime film.

I agree. When I first saw the preview it looked neat but overzealous with the creatures and stuff. Don't mess with a great movie! It looks like there a lot of action so it's worth seeing probably.

Seen another Die Hard movie is coming out in a few weeks. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready to watch another over the top John McLaine adventure.
