The Campaign. Wish it was more Zach Galafinakis playing Zach Galafinakis than his silly southern character. This movie needed John C. Reilly. Although, the scene with the kids at the dinner table was good for a few laughs.

Savages. Blake should have been topless from the start. Del Torros role was awesome and he played it perfect. The ending sucked, the bromance sucked. Travoltas role sucked. What a waste of a decent idea.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Starts off really slow. The last third of the movie picks up (Around when Gollum shows up), but before that it is almost painfully slow. Didn't feel like they needed to reintroduce places like Rivendell as they have all been done in LotR series. Some of the dwarves are ok, some of them are a little too goofy and retarded. The one needs to fix his god damn hair and I hope the fat one dies. The movie in general tries to be a little too cutesy, Gandalf's sheepish nod as the elf queen is mind-talking to him was gay, but a group of nerds a few rows down apparently thought it was hilarious. Don't like the pale orc as a main enemy, it just seems like a stretch that he is so powerful. The rock giant fight seemed lacking. I get that there wouldn't be a movie otherwise, but I hate the way the eagles swoop in to save the dwarves in the tree only to drop them off about 500 miles from their destination, I would be mad as sh*t that Gandalf didn't have them carry the group closer. Also in the goblin caves Gandalf casts a nova or something and kills like 50 goblins but then decides never to do it again? Whatever. The actor who plays Bilbo is pretty good, and Smaug seems like he's going to be pretty bad ass in the next two movies.

Thanks for putting the spolier tag on. I really want to see this movie. I read the book and was engrorssed by it. I was one of the many people that think 3 movies is too much! The last battle better be epic in the last movie but that'a awhile off. If you like LOTR check out the book Unfinished Tales of Numenor and Middle-Earth by J R R Tolkien. Great book but it stinks because a lot of the cool storys are....unfinished

Recently saw "Legion". About God being mad and trying to destroy the world. I liked the movie, lots of violence but lack of explaining. There was a need to keep a baby alive in order for mankind to survive although never came out excalty how that baby would help. My favorite parts were an evil grandma and an evil baby, I won't ruin it, those zombies/monsters were a thrill.

Have you read the book? Sound like it follows the book pretty close with your description. since dumb ass did the lotr before the hobit it ruins the whole Rivendell introduction, this movie should have been done first. Typical Hollywood though.

My dad read the book to me when I was like 5 or 6, I remember some parts, but not well enough to know if the movie follows it closely or not.

Underworld: Awakening
Love seeing Kate Beckinsale in latex... but the movie was just not that interesting.

John Carter - great CGI, cool concept, hot chick... My thoughts were that they story moved a bit too fast. I think the movie could have used about 30 minutes more sprinkled in here and there.

I found This is 40 mostly unfunny with a horrible story/moral of "having kids saves relationships".

I mean, maybe I need to be a person who has had a relationship longer than a week or have unruly spawns to fully appreciate it? But man, that was generally an unfunny disappointment of a movie.

Killing Them Softly really was decent but just didn't do anything for me. It just had no characters that ever seemed interesting or likable. And having just watched Dredd 3D (another meh, but fun meh!), Ray Liota's slo-mo death scene made me laugh thinking back to Dredd. Very talky, dirty, grimy, somewhat violent, well shot movie with not much oomph behind it. Meh...

Then Dredd was just silly fun cheeseball 80s style action. Fun, popcorn. Nothing more, nothing less.

Lincoln- Kinda boring but yet kinda interesting. Who ever played Lincoln did a damn good job.

Bourne Legacy- Better than I expected but Bourne should only have Matt Damon .

Taken 2- Meh, not as original as the first or as entertaining. Generic action sequel.

Lawless

It was too lacking in the Gary Oldman department, and the last half hour fell flat for me.

Seven Psychopaths. Guess I just expected a little more from that awesome cast. Was still funny and different but just felt forced in parts and wandered a bit too much. Then there were little parts that were overly predictable. I'd still recommend it I guess. Def not on the same level as In Bruges.
