I know im gonna get burned here, but I thought "The Fighter" was meh...
not bad at all, but not worthy of the praise its been getting IMO.
Bale was No doubt great, but other than him... Non of the other acting performances were that convincing.
OK, maybe the Amy Adams... but my god, does Mark Wahlberg play any other kind of actor. I know Keanu Reeves is the classic example, but Wahlberg gets a Honorable Mention.

Amen, I can't stand that poor lil lost puppy look he puts on: Whether he's trying to show fear, confusion, anger etc. It's like the same goofy look.

Sorority Row - It was alright. Definitely entertaining but some really corny parts. Some nice titties though!

The Green Hornet - it wasn't a horrible movie, but it wasn't a good one either. I know this hero is a bit of a different ball of wax compared to others, but was still a little surprised at the violence and recklessness, especially towards cops. Just had trouble seeing these guys as heroes, let alone in any way seriously! Christoph Waltz, once again, made for a pretty good villain and kind of saved the movie.

Meh.

Grown Ups - this was going to go into the "bad movie" thread, but there were a few... let me emphasize few funny parts. The movie as a whole was pretty disappointing considering the A-List talent. Then again considering the A-list talents last few movies, I guess i shouldn’t be that surprised. A couple TnA moments also helped save this from being total garbage too.

Meh.

Kill the Irishman, meh acting, horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible writing. Decent action movie based on a real dude. I liked the real news cut scenes, very neat.

American Psycho

Don't get me wrong, this was a bad movie. Poorly directed and quite predictable. However, it kept me entertained just enough to put in this thread. Also, any time I get to stare at Mila Kunis for over an hour makes me a happy camper.

I saw two movies the last few days and they both belong in the meh thread.

A Perfect Getaway
The Green Hornet

Both were alright, nothing special.

^ Terry Crews + Shotgun =

I just watched Green Lantern: First Flight again. It's essentially the animated version of the movie that's coming out on the 17th. It's ok but it leaves out WAY too much of Hal Jordan's origin. If you know nothing about the character you'll probably enjoy it more.
