I guess Keanu found his perfect role. I mean, he must be in his complete comfort zone with this character. Concrete, expressionless, and talking like a robot. Who else can pull this off better than Keanu?

BIGTIME MEH!
Agreed. I think hes horrible as an actor but this was his perfect role.

I wished that Gort wouldve had more of a story. I thought he was cool looking and the and the cool lookin bugs he turned into

I also found it to be too "jumpy" with no real flow. If they extended it like another 15 minutes or so it may have been better. They tried to cram too much story into the 2 hours. I also am not a huge superhero movie fan...Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and X-Men 1 and 2 are really the ones that I think are outstanding. All the others, including the Spiderman movies are either Meh or just bad...(Superman Returns).

Yeah, he was extremely cool. Everything was pretty much there for this to be an outstanding movie. They screwed it up by having the humans somehow, miraculously talking their way out of it. What a letdown. Also, what an annoying lil black kid (Will Smith's kid.) "My daddy this, My daddy that..." STFU! I swore that in that scene where the kid took Klatu to his dad's grave, Will Smith was gonna rise out the grave and say something like: "Imma show you how we do Night of the Living Dead style mutha fvcker." And beat up Klatu in a fair fight. It got that corny IMO.

It's a pretty decent movie for about an hour. They just killed it the rest of the way. It's worth seeing, but you will be visiting this "Meh Thread" when you're done.

Starship Troopers-Marauder

The third installment in the series definitely better then the second as Rico is back and there are some new cool Bugs and technology but nothing will beat the original and getting first introduced to Denise Richards and those amazing breasteses!
