Norm MacDonald: Me Doing Stand-Up

Not a movie, but for anyone who appreciates MacDonald's humor it's a must watch (Netflix streaming). His bit about Alcoholics Anonymous and Gay Pride Parades, and being "proud" of having a gay son, are particularly hilarious.

War Horse: I had the wrong idea about this movie. I thought it was going to be some sappy love story. It was spectacular. Had good bunker war scenes and feel good ending. What more coud you want? I highly recommended this movie.

Caught 21 Jump Street earlier in the week. I hate, and I mean hate, both Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. But, Tatum in something other than serious role wasn't that bad. And Jonah wasn't entirely useless.

Not sure if I'd call it meh or good.... it's right there between the two.

Hombre

Had never seen it and am always out to complete the Paul Newman filmography. He's in top form in this one. I'm not really big on Westerns but there's quite a bit I really like and this one joins them.
