Hunger Games

Went to see it last night after not having read any of the books and not really having an idea as to what it's about, but I was entertained.

Definitely a cool story. Some crazy **** too, even somewhat ridiculous. Loved the commentator with the blue hair; he was such a pimp.

Saw this Sunday night. Not read any of the books and had really only heard about it in the week a little. Was a slow start but really got going and ended up really enjoying it

Hunger Games was good, I read the books and it actually stayed pretty true to them. Plus, the chick they chose to play Katniss was bangin'.

Recently saw "Chronicle" and "21 Jump Street"

Chronicle was really good. They only really showed parts from the first 20 min in the previews which is cool. It got progressively darker as the movie went along.

21 jump street was good also. I wasn't expecting much out of it, and had a feeling it might suck. I was def pleasantly surprised. There were some really funny parts, especially where they take this new drug and are tripping. Other parts I dont want to spoil.

Also, theres a hilarious ode to Donnie Brasco. In Donnie Brasco, there's a scene where they are in the airport and a friend keeps coming up to Johnny Depp, calling him "Joe". Not wanting to jeopardize his undercover mission/get killed, he knocks the guy out, claiming "he touched my dick!" In 21 jump street, theres a scene where Jonah Hill is out with one of the drug dealers. His 70 year old female neighbor recognizes him and comes up to him, where Jonah Hill knocks her down and claims that she touched his dick. Hilarious

Wrath of the Titans was ****in awesome. (do not take this as a recommendation.... i think the story is cool, and i loved the remake of Clash of the Titans.)

the budget must've been higher in this one. the action sequences looked great and the CGI was good.

American History X. No matter how many times I watch it, Ed Norton still amazes me.
