thanks for agreeing with me JKidd, i thought it was a complete waste of time, with only 10 mins of half worthy action.
See ... it was soooo sh**ty I don't even remember the Title ! It was about a fat ping-pong player. Now , just reading the premise should have kept me away ....

This movie was pretty terrible, I still like their music though.

Did you not like it, or were you just confused. Visuals aside, it was a great story with good acting.

I hope you are being sarcastic.

Whoever nominated that movie wants to get the hook up with Clooney. Cause that movie was pointless. At the end of it, you ask yourself, "what was the point of that film?"

There was no great message...no great filming. The acting was so-so at best. I don't know if Clooney was trying to make a few points against corporate America, or attorneys, or what...but it really sucked.

That it is nominated for a best picture and best actor just shows you how bad the Oscars have become.

Peter Travers, Owen Gleiberman, and Roger Ebert all gave it very good ratings, so I'm willing to bet it didn't "suck". Are you trying to start a fight? I'm pretty sure the Top Critics in the nation who decide these things know a thing or to. I haven't personally seen the movie yet, and I will be within the next week, but I'm willing to bet it wont be the worst movie I've scene in a while. What would you have as the Oscar Nominees Siskel?

I'm lucky if I get to watch 2-3 movies every month, so when we go out to the theatres or rent a film, we try to make sure its worth it. That being said we always run into the odd dud or disappointment. The third Pirates movie I absolutley hated - just God awful.

I agreed to see the second Elizabeth movie with the gf, mostly because we both liked the first one from 10 years ago, but this second offering was just terrible. Huge list of historical inaccuracies made it nearly unbearable. Thats probably the last bad movie I've seen.

And I was also really disappointed with the Simpsons movie - wasn't that great, it just felt like a real long episode, like a season finale or something.

Every Oscar nominated movie I have ever seen has pretty much "sucked". Babel was poppy-cock, and those "independent" films bite. I hated Syria. Nominate something that is entertaining...I am all about Transformers, Borne Ultimatum, Pirates of Caribbean 1...you know, good movies.
