doesnt look as good as the first time they made this movie in 1997 and it was called LA Confidential

If it wasn't for Emma Stone, I'd be getting a decent bit of excitement for this cast though. Will be worth checking out.

But that's exactly why most would want to see it. LA Con' was one of the best films of the 90s.

Today's cinema could use some old school neo-noir. Especially since everything being made now-a-days sucks, and/or is something comic book related. Some realism, and dare i say, acting, could be a nice addition....

LA.C was on a whole diff level. The rap music scares me in this, but Penn is a good actor. I got faith he will hold "pop actors" together.

Was afraid of that. Seems a lot of people are saying the same thing.

Currently a 34 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 7.0 on IMDB. Seems i'll be waiting for rental on this one....

Seems they tried the whole crime noir feel but got everything wrong. Especially having the movie so digital.
