Some REALLY touch choices. Going to include movies he directed and wrote - as those are the most influential pieces.

The nominees:

Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Natural Born Killers
Jackie Brown
From Dusk Till Dawn
Kill Bill: Volume 1
Kill Bill: Volume 2
Sin City (along with Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller)
Grindehouse: DeathProof
Inglourious Basterds

For me it's Pulp Fiction and it's not even close.

I voted for Pulp Fiction. No need to mention all that makes it a great film. Although I was close to picking Inglorious Basterds.

Its a great historical twist with excellent acting throughout. I also found it pretty suspenseful at times. Eli Roth is perfect as The Bear Jew, and Brad Pitt is hilarious. Christpher Walz's acting is phenomenal. He spoke 4 different languages in the movie!

This is going to sound horrible, but I haven't seen Pulp Fiction (I'm a pop culture loser). I've only seen bits and pieces of it on TV (which I know is not the correct way to watch a movie).

I'm going to give that a look sometime before the year ends hopefully. So far, the only Tarantino movies I've seen are Reservoir Dogs and Inglorious Basterds. Both were great but I enjoyed Reservoir Dogs more.

I've never been able to make it through Reservoir Dogs. Not my movie I guess.

I've never seen Natural Born Killers but I do want to watch it at some point.

Jackie Brown is one that's been recommended to me several times.

I love Pulp Fiction and all the dialogue is fantastic, but I went with Inglorious Basterds because I can watch it more often. It's nonstop entertainment, at times very suspenseful, at times hilarious, many times both. Christoph Waltz turns in a great performance in this movie. Truly one of the great actors of his kind. The opening sequence with the French farmer was intense from beginning to end. Col. Landa grips you immediately.

The scene in the tavern basement is also one of my favorite scenes from any movie.

The more I think of it, the more I want to change my vote to Basterds.

Reservoir Dogs rounds out my top 3. Great characters and a killer soundtrack. Madsden's a mad man in that movie.

Good poll question! I gotta go with Sin City. My mind was blown by that movie. Close second is Inglourious Basterds, I agree with Phila26Flyers the basement scene is epic. My favorite part is when the bear jew pretends he's a baseball players and kills the German:

Pulp Fiction all the way, very close second is Inglourious Basterds, great damn movie.

All this time I never knew that Natural Born Killers was one of his flicks, seen it several times and never payed attention I guess.

Natural Born Killers isn't QT's, its Oliver Stone's. But Tarantino did write the script. I believe before he even did Reservoir Dogs.

QT also wrote True Romance and Four Rooms. But again, he didn't direct them.

For me,

1. Reservoir Dogs
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Inglourious Basterds
4. Jackie Brown

Good catch. True Romance was surprisingly good even though I'm not a Christian Slater fan. Still, I gotta go Pulp Fiction.

So what? If he had a major hand in it like writing the script, it should still qualify.

The OP says movies he directed and wrote. He did actually direct part of Four Rooms, the 4th segment.

Very tough choice for me to make as Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, NBK, True Romance, Inglorius Basterds and Sin City are all amongst my favourite movies of alltime. If I had to pick one it'd likely be Resevoir Dogs but if you ask me tomorrow I might give a different answer. I really like all his other movies too and would probably consider him my favourite director or close to it. Can't wait to Django Unchained.

One note about NBK, Tarentino wrote the original script but Stone changed it almost entirely and when Tarantino saw the final product, he hated it so much that he tried to get his name removed from the film. Him and Stone hate each other to this day because of that.
