First I've heard of this movie. Looks like a typical Tarantino movie with violence and vengeance. I would definitely go see this.

I think the original Django (1966) was a spaghetti western that was banned by Britain for being too violent , I think their are something like 30 remakes or sequels of the original . I vaguely remember the original , I think it was a Gatling gun he dragged around in the coffin that looked nothing like a Gatling gun , it was another one of the blood-bath westerns the spaghetti ones were famous for .
I think the actor that played the part of Django in the original was Franco Nero ..

Indeed, and he will be making an appearance in this film as well.
