holy ****.

that prison escape looks a LOT like the Knightfall prison escape and any good Batman fan knows what Bane did to Batman in that book.

hopefully there's not some open "is he dead?" type ****. if this really is the end of Batman films from Nolan, end it. i'm not saying i want anyone to die, in fact i think Batman / Bruce Wayne dying would be a ****ty ending, but the trilogy needs an end, not a cliffhanger. especially not a cliffhanger that will never get resolved. or worse, a cliffhanger that leads in to a worse directors vision of Batman.

^ Good call on Knightfall. I'm assuming the dude with the cane is Bruce Wayne so he probably gets damaged by Bane and has to re-train, since we see him with a beard later on. The whole idea of "rising" is probably just Bruce coming out of that training area to beat up Bane and get laid by Catwoman. The re-training process will probably involve a new League of Shadows...which could lead to the return of Ra's al Ghul.

well put! frankly, i can't wait to see Bane break the Bat, but i just don't want that to be the end of the movie. i think what you've said makes a lot of sense though and i hope that that's how it works out.

For sure, he put 30 lbs on to play the role, and he put on 25 for Warrior so he's totally jacked.

The only concern is that Tom hardy looks small for playing Bane. I have no doubt about his acting capabilities its just his size not fit for Bane.

Show me "the joker rises" and I'll be impressed.
