Carroll Shelby
I am surprised that some racing fan hasn't posted the fact racing Legend Carrol Shelby has died at the age of 89 .

Shelby was one of the longest living heart transplant survivors , he received the transplant way back on June 7/1990 , I think he also had a kidney transplant , donated by his son ..

The kidney transplant was in 1996. He was still making commercials and giving interviews last year.

Got to hear this as I spent all weekend at work and was sad to hear of his passing. Winner at Le Mans and helped Ford to be that much more sucessful.

Glad NASCAR took the time to give him a moment of silence.
