Solid event, and it being free made it even better. BJ needs to call it a career, or drop back down. He just got destroyed by MacDonald. After that fight though I certainly don't have any more respect for MacDonald with him showboating in there like a tool. Can't wait till someone KO's him and brings him back to reality. As for the main event, watching Diaz get pummeled was amazing.

i was at a bar crawl all day so i only got to catch the last 2 rounds of the main event. benson looked dominant though. how long is he gonna be able to cut to 155? he's huge for this weight.

a review i read said siver looked like the 145 version of brock lesnar. was he that dominant?

also, dan henderson might still be on the shelf, so we might get gustavson v machida instead.

I like nick diaz becauses hes a bad guy, but yeah he got beat bad. I was watching it through diaz colored glasses and I had him losing every round. One thing That stood out to me though was Diaz gave up his back 3 times to henderson and henderson couldnt capitalize and Diaz got back to his feet...How are you the best in the world and you cant flatten someone out from behind with 3 chances to do it, it was as if he didnt think he could or actually was not able to put a choke on, or body triangle with strikes.

Ha i dont know, the middle finger was pretty awesome too...while in a leg lock...

am i the only one who caught that? i know fox certainly did and panned out to the top of the stadium to avoid showing it clearly on TV

Just wondering, how much of a tape delay was Fox using? Unless my Xfinity was just bad, it seemed like Fox caught and bleeped out every swear word. I remember a few times, especially between rounds when the cameras would pan over you'd see the guys yelling and it would just go silent for 5-10 seconds. Not really a big deal, just a bit annoying.

I saw it. Diaz should have focused on winning the fight instead of stupid antics. Obviously there is a benfefit to throwing your opponent off his game, however it it doesn't work you're f*cked.

I don't get this. He can't be the best in the world because he didn't finish him? Nate Diaz is tough dude with great BJJ.

Henderson destroyed him in most aspects of MMA including striking where Diaz is supposed to be superior.

Diaz got beat up and it was great to watch. I don't like this thug sh*t, I don't like this taunting sh*t and it was great to watch him get fed his lunch over and over again. He got beat up bad enough as to where he can't complain that Henderson wasn't looking for the finish. He cant' go to the standard Diaz argument of the "judges gave the round to the other guy but I did more damage" because he took more damage as well.

I don't mind guys being cocky and don't expect these killers to be pristine people but I do expect them to show a modicum of respect to anyone who is willing to get in the ring with them.

I hope GSP does the same to Nick and Henderson did to Nate.

It was a pleasure watching Diaz get his lunch money taken. After benson took it, he wedgies him, knocked the books out of his hands, and gave him a swirlie.

Even after the fight benson looked him in the eyes and stared him down, as if to add insult to injury, literally.

All of the mugging and ghetto bs doesn't work when the guy you're fighting knows he's tougher and meaner than you.

I don't see any way Diaz can fight for that title again while Henderson is around. It just wasn't even close.

the version i saw edited out all those taunts and the inbetween rounds. I had actually gained respect for diaz after all was said and done. I did notice diaz trying to give props to henson and henson giving him stone cold glares. thanks everyone for the recaps of the stuff i did miss. maybe its just me and watching diaz get beat for 5 rounds , his stock went up +1 with me. whos is still in the negitive but plus one none the less.

i would like to see rory macdonald vs jonhy hendricks. lets see him two step someone who can box.

Diaz turned and gave up his back 3 times. I am just surprised it happened 3 times where he was able to do that and get back to his feet.

It had to be pretty close to live but ever since the janet jackson superbowl bull**** there has been a mandatory minimum delay, whatever it might be, i think 6 seconds

The difference between the Diaz brothers and fake spoticking cowards like GSP?

Balls.

The Diaz brothers just love to fight, will fight anyone and win, lose or draw they're fights are very entertaining.

I think GSP should fight Ronda Rousey next, but I'm sure he'll "hurt" his knee or Dana will bail him out with a "not enough press" suspension to save him from losing.

I'd much rather watch a Diaz fight anyone than watch GSP dry hump himself to another win.

"I will only fight Anderson Silva if I'm paid 50 million dollars" GSP.

Nick Diaz would fight Silva for a supersized Big Mac meal.

I love Diaz reason being he can take it as good as give it, Just when he seems done he submits someone. Oh well did not work this time so be it, BJ looked out of shape and got tooled.

You are clearly an idiot. Spot picking?

GSP has cleaned out the who's who of the welterweight division, some of em TWICE and now wants to fight Diaz. GSP came back from a tough knee injury and took it to Condit.

And that quote you used for GSP demanding 50 Million has no source (obviously) here is a few of him denying requesting $50 Million:
