Mayhem Miller arrested in Church...Naked

Recently-axed UFC fighter Jason "Mayhem" Miller was arrested today in Orange County, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly breaking into a church, spraying a fire extinguisher all over the place, and getting buck naked.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the O.C. Sheriff's Office received a call early this morning from the Mission Hills Church in Mission Viejo about a possible burglary in progress.

When the deputies arrived, we're told they found the first and second floors covered in white fire extinguisher spray. Cops say the place was also trashed -- scattered CDs, books, and broken pictures.

When officers reached the 2nd floor, we're told they found Miller naked on some couch -- totally awake and coherent.

Miller -- who also hosted the MTV reality show "Bully Beatdown" -- was taken into custody for burglary, and is currently being medically evaluated. It's unclear if Miller was under the influence.

It's worth noting -- UFC honcho Dana White cut Miller earlier this year, claiming "some crazy sh*t happened backstage" at UFC 146 and Miller was fired.

Miller and White went back at it on Twitter recently, with Miller telling White to "kill yourself."

Calls to Miller's rep were not returned.

He's not punch drunk. Mayhem has had a history of problems. Terrible childhood on top of being a generally wild dude for years. He's spoken openly about suffering from depression and stuff like that. Had the whole incident with his sister last year, plus more in the past.

I heard that he was in a bad place before the Twitter back-and-forth with Dana White this weekend and now this. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with his poor showing in his return to the UFC, plus getting cut over what Dana says was a backstage ordeal caused by him. Who knows.

Either way, I hope he gets some help. It's sad to see him like this.

Love Mayhem, this is an unfortunate event....should be interesting to see how things develop and what comes to light

I have always really liked mayhem miller. I hope he gets some help from this ordeal, its a shame to see him like this.

This really sucks.

I liked the guy (at least what I saw of him in interviews and stuff) and LOVED his ring entrances, it was too bad he wasn't able to let loose with that kind of stuff in the UFC. I like Dana White for the most part but think he really dropped the ball hard when it came to Mayhem.

I hope he gets well and can come back strong.
