Even as a libertarian, former pot smoker, that is DUMB. Its one thing to do that during the Elite XC/Strikeforce/Pride days, its another to do it with everything on the line.

How long would he be suspended?

im lazy but there is interviews with joe roggan who claims marijuana is the best performance enhancing drug for MMA... Aswell i have seen many Eddie Bravo interviews where he claims if you smoke weed before practicing jui jitsu it will bring your game up to a whole new level...


the 3 most known pot smokers in MMA are the diaz brothers and BJ Penn.. all of which have great Bjj so you never know i guess!

actually, i bet it would help w/ practice, especially something like jj where you are looking for new and different ideas and ways in and out of subs. and i'm pretty sure joe roggan is always high, so weed is a ped for him no matter what he's doing. although i guess you could say the same thing about nick diaz.

As a big pot smoker, I don't see how any of this is true at all. How exactly does it help in MMA?

You're going to feel a punch in the face whether you're stoned or not.
