Bellator 95 April 4, 2013 from Atlantic City NJ

http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Pat...eadliner-49825

Pat Curran will return to the cage on April 4 to defend his Bellator featherweight championship against Daniel Straus at Bellator 95.

Promotion officials announced the booking Wednesday, also confirming that former welterweight champion Lyman Good will compete against Dante Rivera and UFC veteran Tom DeBlass will face Carlos Brooks. A women’s bout between Jessica Eye and Munah Holland will also go down at the event, which takes place at Revel in Atlantic City, N.J., and airs live on Spike TV.

more on the link

Also on the card, Sam Oropeza vs Shedrick Goodridge

For anyone following my posts, as i usually only post about philadelphia fighters Eddie Alvarez and Sam Oropeza

Sammy O went 2-0 in 2012 overcoming a 3rd round loss in 2011 at Bellator 44

he worked insanely hard to make it back to this stage and if you follow MMA not just the UFC expect to start hearing his name a lot in the near future

There's a good shot I might be attending before heading to NY/NJ for Wrestlemania that weekend.

Headlining the card is Pat Curran defending the Bellator featherweight title against Daniel Straus in what should be a great fight.

yes, pat curran was just on a different level, not even a close fight...said he wasnt even hit in the face...

my friend sam was victorious to move to 8-2 professionally... he finished the fight with a broken leg (fibula)... true warrior...broke it on a take down in the second round, knew it was do or die at that point... won via TKO unanswered strikes... heres a GIF of the finish

So how long will he be out for? broken leg has to be at least 6 weeks before being able to train again.

said he knocked him out with an elbow, and 'knocked him back in' with another hit to the head...you can see at at 43 seconds left... if he stopped with the elbow he would have probably won via KO, but there was no way he was going to stop striking until the fight was called or the round was over because of his leg he had no choice
