SPHL Suspends Dennis Sicard, Aaron McGill and Bryant Doerrsam
HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspensions:
Augusta’s Dennis Sicard Augusta’s Dennis Sicard has been suspended for three games for his actions during an altercation in Game #207, Augusta at Huntsville, on Friday, March 1. Sicard will miss games against Knoxville (March 5), Louisiana (March 7) and Huntsville (March 8). Huntsville’s Aaron McGill Huntsville’s Aaron McGill has been suspended one game for receiving his fourth game misconduct of the season in Game #212, Pensacola at Huntsville, on Saturday, March 2. McGill will miss Huntsville’s game against Mississippi (RiverKings) on Tuesday, March 5. Huntsville’s Bryant Doerrsam Huntsville’s Bryant Doerrsam has been suspended seven games for a slashing incident in Game #212, Pensacola at Huntsville, on Saturday, March 2. Doerrsam will miss games against Mississippi (RiverKings) on March 5 and 9, against Columbus on March 7, against Augusta on March 8 and 14 and against Fayetteville on March 15 and 16. |

Doerrsam slashed Ryan Raven of the Pensacola Ice Flyers causing him to have surgery for a broken arm yesterday effectively ending his season. Seven games is pathetic IMO, he should receive the same penalty as Raven and have his season ended as a result of his actions. That's the kind of sh*t that pissis me off.
