The
Louisiana IceGators Head Coach Kevin “Killer” Kaminski announced today the signing of forward Hagen Nemzek.
“The scouting report on Hagen shows he is a young kid who will provide energy and good speed. He finishes his checks but is supposed to have a great touch around the net and can score.” said Coach Kaminski.
The 5’10”, 190 lb Nemzek, hails from Gainesville, Virginia. He got his start playing junior hockey in the 2010-2011 season with the Washington Jr. Nationals in the AtJHL (Atlanta Junior Hockey League). The following season Nemzek would play for the Mass Maple Leafs in the ESHL (Eastern States Hockey League) where he would score 27 goals and add 26 assists for 53 points.
The following season Nemzek went off to play for the Great Falls Americans in the AWHL (American West Hockey League) where he had a total of 21 points (17 goals, 4 assists). He finished out the second half of the year with the Helena Bighorns who went on to win the 2012 AWHL championship title.
“Hagen gets to the blue paint and finds the seam well. He will have his work cut out for him to make the top 2 lines. He will have to prove it every night to make it to this level” added Coach
Kevin Kaminski.
