RiverKings Sign Chris Wilson
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser annocunced that the team has signed forward Chris Wilson. Terms and conditions were not released.
"I'm excited about coming to the RiverKings organization, especially after speaking with Coach," said Wilson. "He's really looking to make a run this season and I definitely have that fire lit under me after the trade." Wislon came to the RiverKings via trade with the Pensacola Ice Flyers for Deven Stillar and defenseman Gabriel Boutin-Gagnon. The Prince Albert, Sask. native spent the last two seasons with the Pensacola Ice Flyers where he led the team in goals and points both seasons. He placed in the top 10 in league scoring in each of those years, including a second-place finish in 2010-11. |

Really? Didn't know that about him. Hard to believe Landmesser would go after a guy like that.

Fun to watch a lot of the times though. I'ma bit conflicted with this move. But it shows our new coach wants to be tough.
