SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings
Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced Thursday that the team has acquired the rights to Ryan Kretzer from the Huntsville Havoc
for future considerations.
"We're excited about having a player of Kretzer's ability added to our roster," said Landmesser. "He's another added offensive presence that will be another asset to our power play."
Kretzer is no stranger to the Mid-South. The St. Louis, Mo. native appeared in 12 games for the RiverKings in the 2010-11 campaign, notching three points (1G, 2A). Last season, the 5-7, 155 pound forward collected 17 goals and 23 assists in 38 games.
