Howes never retired, he went to see his kid born. After he beat Siers down last time, his work was done for a while.

Also, Howes actually plays an important role on the team, while Siers is more a Western version of Goonbury without the fighting talent.

I'm hearing it was possibly Tyler Fletcher?

Yeah it was. Here's how it went from my point of view from the stands..

Amesbury and another Cottonmouths both hit Fletcher in the corner and as they break away and start heading back to the neutral zone, Amesbury turns towards Fletcher with the danging gloves gestures, looks at the Snakes bench - almost like he was looking for permission to do it - and jumped Fletcher.

Fletcher turtled and Amesbury continued hitting him on the ice which is why he got the game misconduct. Got a 7 minute powerplay for the Bears too..Fletcher was the agitator tonight, he was **** talking Bechard all night.

Also, longest game ever.. seriously. It was delayed like 45 minutes and they decided to continue to have the peewee hockey showoff, meaning 25 minute intermissions. I was ready to gtfo when the game ended

The camera didn't pick up the Fletcher/Amesbury incident until he was already turtled. I'm sure Fletcher talked smack. Mitch Wall tried to get him in Knoxville the other night without much success. I think he pulled a Matthew Barnaby last light and Amesbury fell for it.

I almost fell asleep at the game, it was just a sluggish pace...
