Im hoping to see Barr and Leslie go this evening. Barr needs a good "barometer" fight in the league. His only fight was against Littlejohn and he got the edge in that one.

moor on the floor

moor tangled with free tonight but i'll call that one a draw. lewis tried to go with moor earlier but moor just dropped to the ice and covered his head. this has to be an embarrassment to the surge fans to watch one of their players flounder on the ice. this was a good weekend for the antz as they used bridges in the net all weekend. we may now have a new #1 goalie.

HOLY SCHITT!!!

Barr and Leslie went tonight and it was one of the best toe to toe scraps I've seen in a while.

As an Ice Flyers fan I'll give the edge to Leslie for "buckling" Barr but he came back after that. He landed a few really good shots "after" he got caught. It was a great fight that Barr needed. He now knows where he stands in the league amongst the fighters and dammit he's right up there.

They're together on the face off and Barr is sticking him but Leslie skates away and Barr follows and continues until Leslie decides to go. It's an instant grab on and they graple for a second or two and then seperate and start throwing rights. They're toe to toe for a five second count and Leslie buckles Barr with a clean right but Barr stays up and throws a few more that actually catch Leslie and slow him down. They're in tight and the refs step in but it's not over. They continue to throw shots around the refs and one of Leslie's actually catches one of the refs flush in the jaw and he gets the 10 for that. Barr hits him with another after that and it's over.

Talked to the off ice official who was in the penalty box with Leslie and he told Leslie good fight, Leslie said yea, that's a tough kid.

Good test for Barr that he passed with flying colors...

Great fight!!!

Didn't Mississippi only dress 12 or 13 skaters for the game due to injuries and illness? I also think they were playing their 3rd game in 3 nights. I wasn't at the game but, given past games I have seen it is tough to believe Moor floundered. May not be the biggest but is always willing at the right point in the game.

well, believe it or not he dropped to the ice and covered his head when lewis challenged him. he did go with free who is more is size. i would not want to tangle with lewis either. bartle also had his chance to tangle with lewis but did not want any part of that either. i would love to see the footage on the lewis/leslie fight earlier this season. is there any out there?
