Big game for both the Antz and River Kings tonight. I guess this game will determine who is the best of the worst. My money is on the Antz as we are preparing to make our playoff run tonight. Don't anyone count us out yet!

Definitely the best game I have seen all year. The Hawks took it to us at their house and we took it to them at ours. This is the Antz team that I have been looking for all year. I just hope they can keep the intensity that they showed tonight. Kudos to the Hawks fans that made the trip. Hope everyone gets back home safe.

Watched much of the game on line and Whitehead is going to fit in very well once he's more familiar with his linemates. For a man small in stature he's a beast on the ice, great wheels!

I feel like the Antz will become a much better team in the near future. Glad they knocked the Hawks off, the Flyers took care of KVille last night. It's going to get good from here on out.

whitehead is a little guy but man is he fast. he's got a quick first step and his slap shot is a bullet.

i'm curious about needham. i've watched him lately when he is on the ice and he seems to be in another world. he never fights anymore and he rarely uses that big body (230 lbs) to push anyone around. he's a veteran with 8 points for the season and a -8 rating. he's an enforcer with only 54 penalty minutes. is something wrong with this picture? help me antzfan, inquring minds want to know.

Needham has been playing with an Orbital Fracture for the past few months so he can't fight. He is getting ready to have surgery to fix the issue and it will take 6 months to heal. Needham simply can't afford to fight, but he isn't the problem. The problem, as I have stated all along is the fact that we have 18 individual hockey players instead of a team. They are all in it for themselves and we have all seen the results. There is no one available right now on the waiver wire and coaches would be stupid to trade at this point in the season. Collie was here visiting, nothing more.......so we can squash that rumor. Mike Forgie needs to get healthy, he at least plays with heart and hustle. I am so tired of watching this team skate around in circles.

OK KOHO, Needham has been waived. Now tell me about the certain player who is a vet that is returning to the Antz. I think I already know your answer but I want to hear it from a reliable source.

Well Sich was waived and we traded Whithead and Hlookoff to the Riverkings... Sich is back!! With Needham being waived vet room was made, not what we need but I guess Sich will bring up the attendence.....Pointstreak does not say that Sich was obtained by the Antz but there has been ongoing talks about him coming here for a few weeks. Stay tuned!

wow, i just noticed that our attendance has dropped below 3000 and we are 4th in the league in attendance. i wonder....could it be because we play bad and loose a lot of games? no, that cannot be it. anyway, saturday nite is military nite and that always brings in a big number. i believe that all tickets given out are counted whether the people show up or not so look for a large attendance figure this saturday. last night against pennsacola was a nightmare. i have never seen a team so unorganized before in my life. this is just not fayetteville hockey.

We made a coaching change but waited too long in the season to do it. The season is basically over for us but we'll still go through the motions. To get in the playoffs we would have to win every game and hope that the River Kings lose their remainder but everyone knows that is not going to happen. The past two years have been a total disaster for an organization that has a large fan base. I only hope that the management team and owners make next year one that we want to remember.

There was rumors that Pisano left the Antz without permission to go to E. This morning this is on poinstreak.

Danbury 02/21/12 Pisano, Anthony (D) assigned by Trenton Titans (ECHL)

Anyone got info?

I wish him good luck

I was wondering where he got off to. He hasn't been on the roster for the past 3 games. I only got to see him fight Howe but he handled him with no problem. Based on the last game against Columbus this team is not going to win many more games (Columbus outshot us 51-19). Hopefully everyone left on the team will drop the gloves and give the fans somehting to cheer about. I've got free tickets to tomorrow's game. If you need one let me know.
