Mike Craigen Suspended Two Games
 

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Knoxville head coach Mike Craigen has been suspended two games for his actions in Game #130, Columbus at Knoxville, played on January 12.

Craigen will miss Knoxville’s games against Huntsville on Thursday, January 17 and Augusta on Friday, January 18.

What were the coach's actions? Probably throwing stuff on the ice or yelling at the opposing bench?

Craigen threw 2 water bottles and challenged Greco to a fight-completely lost his cool! In his defense, well not really defense but Greco lost control of the game. That included a 10 plus minute delay to figure out who and when a 2 minute minor occured.

The sphl is a developmental league,,,, very developmental. :D

Seemed like the ref weren't paying attention to Craigen questions. If a coach is that heated at least go over there and address it. The refs are asking for trouble when they ignore a coach. Throwing stuff on the ice is a big no-no, so 2 game is fair.
