Fayetteville Names Mark DeSantis Head Coach

Mark DeSantis, who played professional hockey 16 years and has been an assistant coach in Rapid City, S.D., the past three seasons, is the the Fayetteville FireAntz's new coach. Team president Kevin MacNaught made the announcement Thursday.

DeSantis, 40, is a native of Brampton, Ontario. He spent the past three years in the Central Hockey League with the Rapid City Rush as an assistant to Joe Ferras.
